In April the seasons are starting to tilt in favour of the central coast, but it’s still a very good time to book your tour of Vietnam. The north is now enjoying temperatures in the high 20s°C and if you feel like exploring slightly off the beaten track this is a great time to head for the hills of Sapa or Ha Giang or south of Hanoi to the dramatic limestone hills and National Parks around Ninh Binh.

The beaches in Hoi An and Nha Trang are now enjoying their best weather with temperatures in the high 20s°C. The south is entering its hottest period with an average temperature of 31°C but the days are still blue on the beaches of Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Phan Thiet & Mui Ne. Air-conditioned rooms are recommended.
