If you travel in November and have sufficient energy levels include a stay in the hills of Kalaw or Hsipaw as the countryside will still be full of wildflowers and the rice harvest will be in full swing. It’s a great time of year to include a walk as you can expect sunny days in the mid-20s°C but low humidity. With clear skies the mornings and evenings are cool but your hotels will have open fires and even hot water bottles so only adding to the atmosphere.
Elsewhere the weather will be perfect with temperatures in the high 20s°C in Yangon, Mandalay, Inle and Bagan, but like in the hills, whilst in the latter 2 you’ll need a second light layer to take the chill off the blue sky morning. The beaches are now firmly in full swing with temperatures touching 30°C.
