This is peak season for travelling to Burma. The weather is hot and dry, making for perfect touring conditions throughout the country. River levels are still high enough for extensive boat travel and the beaches of Ngapali enjoy days of wall to wall sunshine in the high 20s°C.
Bagan and Inle Lake will also be basking under blue skies, but in the early morning and evening you may need an extra later over breakfast and dinner. More dry desert heat than the humid tropics you’ll find it perfect for touring, in fact you may want to move here for the winter. Expect average temperatures of around 25-28°C throughout most of the country with early 20s°C in the northern highlands.
