October signals a change as the rains start to move away, sunshine hours rise and humidity drops. The countryside will also be beautifully green as the rains will have worked their magic. All good news, but for the best chance to enjoy these conditions leave your holiday to the 2nd half of the month. This is especially true when considering your beach destination. In the 2nd half of the month the west coast beaches of Phuket, Krabi and Khao Lak start to come back to the fore, but you should expect afternoon showers.
Peak season prices haven’t kicked in yet, so time it right and October is a great month to visit Thailand.
