Vietnam wraps itself tight around the east coast of IndoChina and invites visitors to revel in a land of invigorating landscapes, beautiful coastlines and a compelling history. The traditional highlights may be the primary reason you visit, but below are a few suggestions that are easily added and are slightly off the beaten track. Each of our holidays is private and designed around you, so anything can be added to our featured holidays.
Ninh Binh, Limestone Karst Hill Country
Just south of Hanoi, the dramatic limestone hill country of Ninh Binh offers visitors access to a beautiful region of rural Vietnam that's easily added to any holiday. Highlights include Cuc Phuong National Park, the first in the country and an authentic jungle environment full of birds, butterflies and gibbons, Hoa Lu the capital of Vietnam under the Dinh and Le Dynasties and the Van Long Wetlands, nicknamed 'Halong Bay on the Rice Paddies' because of the dramatic scenery.

Phu Quoc Island - Beach Paradise
Escape the hustle and bustle and discover your own desert island in the Gulf of Thailand, just a 1 hour flight south from Saigon or the Mekong Delta. Phu Quoc is that rare jewel, a relatively undeveloped tropical island fringed by beautiful beaches and good quality hotels, yet promising little more than peace and quiet, a cold beer and beautiful sunsets. The perfect end to any Vietnam touring holiday; get here quickly before things change.

Cat Tien National Park
Traditional tours follow a fairly regular path between Hanoi and Saigon and don’t really explore the more natural side of Vietnam. If you’re staying in Saigon perhaps consider a side trip to Cat Tien National Park which is considered one the best places to watch wildlife in Vietnam, in a pristine environment. It can also be combined with a beach stay in Mui Ne, the driest region in Vietnam.
