Overview

Phu Quoc, at least for now, offers solace from the modern world of sprawling developments and Mango Bay is one of the best examples of a true eco-resort.

Tucked away on its own bay behind a protected forest, hidden amongst wild gardens full of flowers, butterflies and birds and fringed by a 1.5 km deserted beach from which to soak up the sun; this is the perfect place to lose yourself for a few lazy days. Come soon!

Facilities

As the name suggests the On The Rocks Restaurant sits amongst rocks just yards from the sea and offers the perfect resort centrepiece from which to watch to enjoy the sunsets and settle down to an excellent seafood dinner. Alternative the Beach Bar is open for lunch and dinner, specialising in bbq. The gardens are also a feature as you can wander through the pepper plantation, butterfly farm, orchid garden and forest reserve.

The resort’s boat will also take you snorkelling out around nearby islands. For those who like to be pampered you can enjoy a massage overlooking the beach.

Rooms

31 rooms and bungalows stretch out along the beach and through the gardens. There are a variety of options but all are constructed of natural materials from the island and have ceiling fans, four poster beds, wooden furniture and outside bathrooms that overlook the forest behind.

Simple and comfortable, in keeping with the resort’s ethos.
