The Boat Landing Guest House

Overview

The Boat Landing Guest House endeavours to create a synergy between local people and visiting tourists, actively encouraging guests to kayak, trek, raft and bike through the surrounding countryside, visiting local villages and directly contributing to the local economy. Essentially what eco-tourism is supposed to be!

Facilities

Set on the banks of the Nam Tha River the eco-lodge offers excellent access to the Nam Ha Protected Area. Facilities are limited to an excellent restaurant that serves northern Lao cuisine.

Rooms

The bungalows are constructed with local materials in a traditional Lao style, with private bathrooms and solar hot showers. Lounge on your veranda overlooking to river and watch locals fish for their evening meal, children swim and boats slouch by. Go to sleep soothed by the evening breeze and sounds of the river.
