Koh Dach is flat with sandy roads / paths that are ideally explored on a gentle guided bike tour. Embark on a culinary adventure through the centre of Phnom Penh on this evening foodie tour. Dive into the bustling atmosphere at a local market. Renowned for its street food, taste some of the specialties on offer, including fruit, cakes and, for the very brave-hearted, even crispy crickets and spiders!

After this introduction to Cambodia’s varied cuisine, take a short walk and stroll past the Independence Monument. Standing tall in the middle of the city’s main roundabout, this Angkor-inspired tower was erected to commemorate Cambodia’s independence from France. At night, it is lit in the colours of the flag - blue, red and white - making for an impressive sight as the sun goes down. East of the monument, stop at the memorial of King Norodom Sihanouk, a bronze statue housed in a large golden stupa. Regarded as a national hero, he led the country to independence.

Time to sit back and relax over a traditional Khmer-style barbecue. This popular dish is served as a hot pot attached to a grill on which delicious strips of fish and meat sizzle whilst an assortment of vegetables cook in an accompanying steaming broth.
